Spring Market FAQs

All you need to know about visiting our Spring Market

Where is the Spring Market being held?

Our spring market is held in the Big Red Barn on the farm steading at Kilduff Farm, just outside Athelstaneford in East Lothian. The postcode for the farm is EH39 5BD. Access to farm is from the B1343 Athelstaneford Road. There is no access to the farm from Drem.

Coming by bus? The farm is serviced by the North Berwick to Haddington route – the 121 is currently run by Eve’s Coaches.

Kilduff Farm isn’t a scheduled stop but if you make the driver aware that you are coming to the farm they should stop to let you off. Walk up the farm drive and you can access the market safely from there.

When is the Spring Market?

Our Spring Market will be held on Friday 31st March and Saturday 1st April 2023. On Friday we will hold an over 16s evening market, and on Saturday all will be welcome.

Our Spring Market will follow a similar format to our Pumpkin Festival and Christmas Market. We will run sessions on each day to allow us to manage car parking spaces and numbers in the barn. Sessions will be as follows:

Friday 31st March 2023
6pm – 7.30pm and 7.30pm – 9pm
Book Friday tickets

Saturday 1st April 2023
10am – 11.30am, 11.30am – 1pm, 1pm – 2.30pm and 2.30pm – 4pm
Book Saturday tickets

You are welcome to arrive at any time during your chosen session but we ask that you leave the market by the end of the session to allow us to clear the car park before the start of the next session.

Please see below for details on our author event, ‘Bread with James Morton’ on Saturday 1st April.

What are the details of your author event 'Bread With James Morton'?

We are delighted to be welcoming author, doctor, baker and Great British Bake Off finalist, James Morton, to the farm for a special author event on Saturday 1st April.

James, who has written and published 7 books on all things bread and brewing, will be sharing his love of baking bread in two very special hour-long demonstrations in our new workshop space on the farm.

James will be demonstrating how to make bread from scratch and sharing his insight into ingredients, kneading, no-knead methods, shaping, scoring and baking. There will be an opportunity to taste James’ bread and ask questions too. He will also be on hand to sign copies of some of his books, which can be purchased at an additional cost on the day.

This special event will run alongside our spring market, so once you have gleaned tips and tricks from the bread baking master, you can pop over to enjoy our special spring event too.

Date: Saturday 1st April 2023
Time: Sessions 11am – 12pm | 2 – 3pm
Tickets: £15 per person and includes entry to the Spring Market
