The importance of bees to our existence is no secret. We rely on bees to pollinate much of the food that we eat and the trees and flowers that provide habitats for wildlife. We take protecting and promoting the bee population very, very seriously here at Kilduff. Put simply, we love bees.

The Hive
It's a bee thing
A long-term partnership
Our commitment to bees began in earnest in 2019 when we linked up with The Scottish Bee Company to bring hives to the farm. Initially, a few hives were placed beside our pumpkins on The Patch for the spring and summer months. We were incredibly excited to see how bees and pumpkins worked together. That interest has grown over the years, and we now have Scottish Bee Company hives on the farm all year, we have our own honey for sale and the team have undergone extensive bee keeping training to ensure that we are constantly learning and up to speed with how best to look after the bees and produce wonderful, ‘real’ honey.
