Workshop Events FAQs

All you need to know about attending one of our workshops at Kilduff

Where are the workshops held?

Our workshops are held in our event space on the farm steading at Kilduff Farm, just outside Athelstaneford in East Lothian. The postcode for the farm is EH39 5BD. Access to farm is from the B1343 Athelstaneford Road. There is no access to the farm from Drem.

Coming by bus? The farm is serviced by the North Berwick to Haddington route – the 121 is currently run by Eve’s Coaches.

Kilduff Farm isn’t a scheduled stop but if you make the driver aware that you are coming to the farm they should stop to let you off. Walk up the farm drive and you can access the market safely from there.

When is the next workshop?

Our next workshop will be part of our Pumpkin Festival on Saturday 28th October 2023

Join us to celebrate the launch of author and creator Rosie Steer’s debut book Slow Seasons: A Creative Guide to Reconnecting with Nature the Celtic Way.

Tell me more about your author event with Rosie Steer

Join us to celebrate the launch of author and creator Rosie Steer’s new book Slow Seasons: A Creative Guide to Reconnecting with Nature the Celtic Way.

Rosie’s debut book is a beautiful and thoughtful book that encourages the reader to connect with nature throughout the year and is filled with nature notes, activities and recipes to celebrate each of the seasons in the Celtic Wheel. Rosie will share her inspiration, what drove her to write the book and will bring alive some of the activities she has created throughout the pages.

As well as some of Kilduff’s mulled apple juice and an autumnal sweet treat, there will be an opportunity to create your own flower crown from material foraged from the farm, and you will take home some of our pumpkins and a signed copy of Rosie’s new book. Your ticket will also provide you with access to our much loved Pumpkin Festival from 2.30pm.

Date & Time: Saturday 28 October 3.30pm – 5pm
Venue: The Workshop, Kilduff Farm
Price £30.00

Please note that the ticket price is per person and includes a copy of Rosie’s book, refreshments, pumpkins to take home and entry to the pumpkin festival.

Is the Workshop space accessible?

The Workshop space is in a barn on the farm steading.

Parking is on the farm steading and a short distance from the barn. If you have mobility issues and require accessible parking, please let one of our car parking attendants know on arrival and they will direct you to an accessible parking area as close to the barn as possible.

We will have a wheelchair accessible toilet available on the pumpkin patch which is a short distance from the farm steading. We are working to provide accessible toilets on the farm steading and hope to be in a position to offer this in 2024.

Should you have any queries on accessibility or would like to speak to us for more information please call Lucy on 07793 600 289 or email on lucy@kilduff.co.uk. We strive to make each event we host on the farm a memorable outing for all and will help in any way we can.
