January is a quiet month here at Kilduff. Taking time to get back in the swing of things after a hectic end of 2018 and the Christmas festivities, it’s always a quiet time when we take time to catch our breaths! You will find Russ either hiding in the office catching up on paperwork or heading out to help Bob with maintenance on the machinery or Colin doing maintenance work on the properties.
You may have seen on our social media that we are currently working with the team at Daysix in Edinburgh to rebrand ‘Kilduff’ and with that we are developing a new website to work with the new branding. I have been tasked with providing copy for the website so I am trying desperately to channel my inner J.K. Rowling and come up with the goods. It turns out procrastination is a quality I have in abundance!
Thankfully February is almost here and having had an unseasonable warm January, it seems to be bringing with it frosty, blue sky mornings. Perfect for wintery walks and blowing away the January blues!
One of my goals for 2019 is to keep you all up to date with life here at Kilduff so you will be hearing a lot more from me! I’ll be sharing updates from the field when the boys get back into the tractors, news from Barley Cottage, pumpkin updates from The Patch, recipes from the Farmhouse kitchen and lots of other bits and bobs so stay tuned. Remember to follow us on our social media pages to keep up to date too.
Until next time,
Lucy
